First Aid and CPR
Lift Truck operators have a difficult job. They are responsible for handling complex machines and maneuvering through congested spaces. It makes them vulnerable to several on-the-job safety hazards. Safety isn’t something that anyone sets out to intentionally ignore. But tight schedules, heavy equipment, pedestrian traffic and congested workspace can compromise safety and lead to accidents. Timely intervention informed procedures, and correct techniques can save someone’s life.
Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that all the operators know how to administer first aid and CPR. Amaze Forklift Training has put together a WSIB-compliant, two-day course to educate the trainees about first and CPR for infants, children and adults. They will learn the correct way to use AEDs (automated external defibrillators), emergency prevention and how to respond should the contingency arise. A minimum score of 75% is required to clear the final assessment.

Emergency First Aid/ CPR: 1 day
Standard First Aid/ CPR: 2 days
Standard First Aid/ CPR Renewal: 1 day

At the discretion of our certified First Aid/ CPR trainers.
Completion
Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive the designated wallet card.
