Order Picker Training Mississauga
As the name suggests, an order picker forklift is equipment that is used to pick up and deliver orders. They are designed to elevate the operator to different rack levels with or without load. The operator stands on a platform that moves with the mast and forks. Since the operator has to work on alleviated platforms, they must wear a safety harness at all times. The front of the order picker provides a more expansive view through the mast, which is really important as these trucks are used in narrow aisle locations. They are designed for easy maneuvering through the aisles, lifting up the beam levels (per the requirement) and stacking the load as the operator rides with it.
A driver must undergo proper training to make the most of this engineering masterpiece, and ensure on-the-job safety and higher productivity. The Order Picker Training program in Mississauga is intended to help you develop safe operating practices when using the machine. It is compliant with the safety regulations and OSHA Guidelines. It is suitable for both inexperienced and experienced operators and may be completed in about 2-4 days, depending on the past qualification.
